Borussia Dortmund and Napoli are in the midst of a qualifying battle in Group G of the UEFA Champions League.

Through four matches, both sides have chances to advance to the next round in a zone where everything is packed. The German side has six points while the Serie A outfit has nine, and both teams also boast a +1 goal differential.

In tight games, Borussia Dortmund can always rely on the force of their forward line that’s led by Polish international Robert Lewandowski. The deadly striker is no stranger to Champions League success, and he usually comes up big right when his team needs him the most, so he will be a constant threat to Napoli’s defensive line.

The Italian side, on the other hand, also features a deadly striker in Gonzalo Higuain. The former Real Madrid attacker has found new life in Italy, and he already delivered a big performance last week when he scored two goals against Olympique Marseille. The challenge will be bigger now as he’ll battle with the likes of Mats Hummels and Neven Subotic, but his presence could well be the difference in a game that appears to be very close.

Prediction: Borussia Dortmund 1-1 Napoli

Napoli will employ a defensive strategy that will allow them to counterattack and while they might score, they will settle for a draw if they are at a big risk of losing the game. Borussia Dortmund will create plenty of chances but in the end, this one should end up in a draw.
