Manchester City will prove that they are able to win away from home this Wednesday when they will visit the Hawthorns to take on West Bromwich Albion in a thrilling Premier League encounter.

The Citizens are coming off two impressive wins where they have kept a clean sheet, and their resurgence in recent weeks has the team sitting third in the standings. West Bromwich, on the other hand, hasn’t played at the expected level and sit in the 12th place after 13 games with only 15 points.

While it’s clear that the biggest spark for Manchester City comes from Argentinean striker Sergio Aguero, it’s difficult to overlook what Alvaro Negredo has been doing in his first Premier League season.

The former Sevilla star has been scoring goals for fun, and he’s been the perfect complement for Agüero offensively. They have already scored 31 goals combined, with 18 being tallied by the former Independiente striker. Lots of City’s chances will depend on the striker duo and their ability to find spaces up front.

West Bromwich Albion, on the other hand, will need to have a strong defensive effort if they want to prevail at home, and their key player for tomorrow’s game will be goalkeeper Ben Foster. The former Manchester United stopper is used to playing against top opposition, and he will need to have a superb outing to keep his side in the game late.

Prediction: West Bromwich 1-3 Manchester City

WBA has already caused some upsets this year but ultimately, Manchester City will come out on top. The Citizens have a better team all around, and their individual and collective quality will be enough for them to get the three points away from the Etihad Stadium.
