When you are 6-foot-2 and 194 pounds, it is often hard to stop you, especially when you can jump up high for headers. Bruin has slowly but surely emerged as one of the lead points of attack for the Dynamo after an eight-goal 2013 season. He also set a franchise record with 16 goals in all competitions during the 2012 season, scoring 12 regular-season goals and four in the playoffs.

A perfect example of a homegrown player, Fagundez has emerged as the primary scorer for the Revolution since it was announced that Juan Agudelo will leave the club in January for the English Premier League. Fagundez finished the 2013 season fifth in the league with 13 goals.

Any time a player can skip over college soccer and go straight to the pros, you know he must be good. McInerney not only bypassed the chance to play college soccer, but was also a consistent fixture for the U-17  U.S. National Team before signing with Philadelphia. His 12 goals in 2013 were eighth-best in the league.
