Manchester City Have The Best Offense In England
Manchester City is a team that has been firing on all cylinders as of late. Whether it be in the Premier League, Capital One Cup or the FA Cup, the boys have shown absolutely no fear when it comes to playing in the final third. They not only have their players to thank for that, but also their new coach Manuel Pellegrini.
The Uruguayan came into the program over the summer and has made the best use of the players at hand, in addition to the ones that he has brought aboard the ship. Alvaro Negredo and Jesus Navas are two of the names on offense that have truly shown up for the club when it mattered most. In fact, the former has already scored over 20 time in all competitions. He will only continue to score as long as he keeps on hustling and taking chances.
The team’s defense and midfield are also solid, which propel the attack to keep on pushing forward. They play a disciplined style of the game, but it looks like it is a free-for-all due to the fun they are having. The team plays with the same attitude both at home and away. Not too many teams in the nation are capable of doing so.
With the depth of the roster, the team truly does have the best attack as they rely on players like Negredo, Navas, Stevan Jovetic, Edin Dzeko and Sergio Aguero. These guys have torn apart defenses all season long and still have a ways to go before their damage is inflicted. Other teams have three or four guys who can find the back of the net consistently, but not nearly as many times as this City side. In fact, this team boasts the most goals scored thus far in all competitions with 106.
It is clear that City have the best offense in English soccer; however, they can still very much slip up later on in the year as they still have a long ways to go before the season comes to an end.
