With this being the first game of the season for the Colorado Rapids, it will be interesting to see how dangerous the team truly can be. The New York Red Bulls are also looking for a positive result this week. Losing opening week against the Vancouver Whitecaps 4-1 certainly surprised many and raised numerous questions about the play of the Red Bulls. The bottom line is this game is going to be full of goals and one you will not want to miss.

After posting 15 points in MLS Fantasy last week, Will Bruin is a hot player to have. Scoring two goals against a New England Revolution team that should have put forward more resistance than it did certainly spring-boarded Bruin’s confidence for the season. Facing a shaky Montreal Impact defense in week two is exactly what the Houston Dynamo want to keep their confidence high and their scoring ways rolling.

Losing 4-0 was not how the New England Revolution wanted to start off their 2014 season. The defense had more holes in it than a cheese grater, and the offense played absolutely horrible. Bobby Shuttleworth is far better than the final score indicated. With a week two match-up against the Philadelphia Union, the Revs feel like their chances are good to regain confidence and restart their season.

The Portland Timbers tied their week one match-up against the Philadelphia Union. It was surprising to see a team as dangerous as Portland struggle the entire game. The Timbers will have their work cut out for them in week two, as the Chicago Fire have a one of the best goalies in MLS. Both teams have offenses that know how to score goals in bunches. Overall this is a game you will not want to miss.
