For the second straight week, MLS gave us some of the best soccer the league has seen in years. From the thrilling late goals by FC Dallas and the San Jose Earthquakes, to the butt goal scored by Chivas USA, the goals poured out of week two.

5. Arelien Collin Does What He Does Best

Sporting Kansas City has not looked particularly good this season. Finally in the 81st minute of their match against FC Dallas, Aurelien Collin scored a thunderous header to give his team the lead. SKC has struggled early this season but certainly has plenty of time to improve.

4. Jermain Defoe Scores A Beauty

In his first ever game as a member of Toronto FC, Jermain Defoe scored not once but twice as his team beat the Seattle Sounders this past weekend. Defoe proved that he is still capable of scoring great goals, and this one is no exception.

3. Clint Dempsey Finally Scores

It had been a long time coming, but Clint Dempsey finally scored a goal for the Seattle Sounders. Even though his team lost, Dempsey's goal is a positive sign for fans that were questioning how good the U.S. International was. It certainly is a positive sign for Sounders fans, but only time will tell if Dempsey keeps his goal scoring form.

2. Thierry Henry's Stunning Header Goal

The soccer world has once again been shown the magnificent talent of Thierry Henry. With the New York Red Bulls pushing to score the first goal of the game, Henry found a patch of space and put away one of the best goals of the season. New York will ride the wave of their dangerous offense all season. If Henry continues to score goals like this one, the Red Bulls will be playoff bound.

1. Kyle Beckerman Hits A Left Footed Blast

Real Salt Lake may have given up two goals to end in a tie with the San Jose Earthquakes, but the absolute beauty of a goal from Kyle Beckerman set the atmosphere on fire. RSL will look to Beckerman to continue his dangerous and consistent play throughout the season as the team looks for a return trip to the playoffs.
