It has been 16 years since France has won a World Cup. The last time the team did win the cup, a young Thierry Henry was leading the charge. Now, many years later, the team has a different look and feel.

France has not done exceptionally well during the past two World Cup tournaments. This coming June will be a chance for redemption and the last chance for some of the great French players to earn their own World Cup trophy.

After being drawn into Group E, France will play matches against Ecuador, Honduras and Switzerland. France has never played Honduras, so the experience of a European national against a small Central American country is an almost certain victory. Ecuador and France have meet once, resulting in a 2-0 victory for the Blues. The Swiss will bring France the most difficultly, as the two teams will probably be advance from their group.

A runner-up for the FIFA Ballon d'Or in 2013, Frank Ribery is one of the most talented players in the world. The fact that he finished third in the voting shows just how dangerous and talented he is. Ribery will be called on to orchestrate most of the French attack; if the team would like to book a return ticket to the World Cup final, it will need consistent play from their main man.

During the 2013-14 EPL season, Loris has currently tallied 80 saves and 12 clean sheets. His talent will be at catalyst for the French defense come June.

Thankfully, Nasri has been in fine form recently, and alongside players like Paul Pogba and Ribery, France will possess one of the best midfields of the World Cup.
