Real Madrid vs. Barcelona is always an entertaining match to watch because it is considered the very best derby in the entire world. Yesterday's match was no different as Barcelona came out on top 4-3 after an enthralling encounter. Three of the goals may have been penalties, but the fighting spirit and trickery was still in it. Here are the things we learned.

The young Welshman had two great runs down the middle, but to no avail as neither he or teammates could find a way past Victor Valdez. He was forced to pass the ball a lot as the Barca players almost read his every move. He needs to make noise against the bigger clubs or he will not make the biggest difference needed.

The young right-back was at fault in the opening goal scored by Andres Iniesta. He is fast, skilled and can push up, but he needs to focus on his side of the field and leave the strikers to the two center-backs. He has a lot to learn still.

3. Angel Di Maria is the Unsung Hero

On a night where both Gareth Bale and Cristiano Ronaldo were invisible, this man stepped up big time to assist Karim Benzema twice. He could have had more as he took on players without hesitation, but his teammates could not finish on different occasions. He does not get enough credit, but that should be changing very soon.

If we did not know already, Leo Messi is the bravest yet most successful Barca player there is. He is the all-time scoring and assists leader after yesterday's triumph. He scored a hat trick with two of the goals being from the spot. As long as he is around, Real Madrid will never be comfortable and Barcelona will always find ways to succeed in the end. He is the heart and soul of Barcelona. Accept it and embrace it.

Ronaldo is the best attacking player on Real Madrid. However, very rarely does he succeed against Barcelona. He scored a penalty kick that he earned, but he could not do much besides that as he was shut down by Dany Alves and company. He actually let Di Maria outshine him on the night. He has to learn how to play perfectly against the best of opponents.
