Footballers Mario Balotelli and Kaka were the heroes of the night as the former hit once while the latter banged in a brace for AC Milan over Chievo Verona in Serie A play.

The home side played a solid game of soccer where they were able to defend as a unit, counter with their attack-minded players and score three sweet goals in front of their beloved and deserving home crowd. The opponent was a feisty Chievo that simply did not have enough o keep things level. They did, however, earn a 90th-minute penalty, but were unable to convert it home.

The return of Kaka has given this club so much belief, control, direction and excitement as the midfielder adds the extra flavor needed. In addition to him, his former teammate Clarence Seedorf becoming the head coach has made the situation even better. Both guys know what the other wants, so if they come to a halfway point, the team will be successful.

The defense of the club sometimes gets a bit lazy which is something that has to be immediately erased. They have big-name guys who are proud to wear the jersey, but do not know exactly what it means. The fact that they sit roughly 40 points back of Juventus in eighth place is nothing short of a shame. The back line and the keeper have to take some of that blame.

The midfield is led by Kaka who knows how to lead a team in the heart of the park. In fact, he could captain the entire team as he is truly their best player at the moment. With Balotelli up top keeping his decent scoring form, this team needs to step up and help the star players to perform at the highest level.
