Liverpool entered the current Premier League season with ambitions of finishing in the top four Champions League positions, and perhaps to try and have some kind of say in the title race if at all possible. As it turns out, it is possible and they're doing more than just having a say -- they're screaming the house down. Here are five reasons why they're set to take the Premier League crown.

Liverpool are the team currently under the least pressure in the title race. Nobody really expected that they would be here and now that they are, there's even support coming from fans of other English clubs. Liverpool are actually the fan favorite in the race and have the support of the majority of England. All the support and very little pressure -- not bad if you can get it.

The league title is currently in Liverpool's hands. They are top of the league and although Manchester City have two games in hand on them, they still have to go to Anfield to play Liverpool, as do Chelsea. What better way to hurt your title rivals? If Liverpool win all of their remaining games, they will be Premier League Champions.

Steven Gerrard has a had a dream for years -- one which, in all honesty, looked as if it would never happen. But suddenly, Liverpool have been thrust into the middle of a three-way tug-of-war for the Premier League and Gerrard is playing like a man possessed. He knows this could be the best chance he will ever have of realizing his dream, and he has no intention of letting it slip away. He's super motivated and it's inspiring the whole team.

Luis Suarez and Daniel Sturridge have been scoring goals all season. Even if one has been injured, the other has picked up the slack. Between the pairing, Liverpool have profited from 49 goals this season in just 32 games in the Premier League. Nobody has been able to stop them so far this year, and that isn't about to change at this point of the season.

For most of the season, Liverpool have just ticked over, picking up points quietly and getting on with the next game. Now, all of a sudden, they're right there and the team's confidence is growing by the game. With the momentum the team currently has, they can win enough games to do what nobody thought they would and win the Premier League.
