Holland's starting XI in the world cup will be talented and experienced. Here's how the roster should look as it stands in April.

The Swansea keeper has been in fine form in between the posts, but his defense could be better. Luckily for him, his international teammates for Holland are superior and should help make his job a bit easier in the World Cup. His experience in the Premier League should give him the starting job in this summer's tournament.

The right-back has proven himself already at the highest level for his country in the World Cup qualifiers. He is strong, focused and ready for the biggest stage of his young career this summer.

A teammate of Janmaat's at Feyenoord, this young man is tall, strong and capable of defending all over the defensive third. His specialty is winning battles in the air, which is something his nation will need to do a lot as they are hard to beat on the ground.

Despite his club's poor run of form, his experience, strength, knowledge and defensive ability should enable him to start for Holland in the World Cup. With better players around him, he will feel the need to up his game in the tournament of his life. He should be considered irreplaceable in this position.

This man just scored the goal of his career for club Stoke City when he pushed up from the left-back position. Besides his ability to score like a certain Giovanni van Bronckhorst did back in the day, he knows how to lock down wingers and fill in gaps in other areas of the defense.

The Bayern Munich winger has proven time and time again that he is the best Dutch player out there. He knows that he has to be at his absolute best in what could potentially be his very last World Cup this summer. He will be one of the players of the tournament.

He plays a textbook Premier League style for Swansea, and this is something that Holland could use in the center of the park. He is strong, fast, can pass the ball for days, take back possession and score some spectacular goals when need be. Starting him is a no-brainer.

This young man has proven that he knows how to score goals, run for days, pass the ball accurately, play fearlessly and has an overall ability to play the game the way it should be played. Louis Van Gaal should think of the future, so starting a youngster next to a veteran in de Guzman would be a great idea.

Lens made a decent move to Ukraine for more money and to gain valuable experience. He plays regularly for Dynamo Kiev and deserves a spot on the WC starting XI due to his speed, skill, technique, experience and knack for scoring goals. He may not start up top, but he will push up when need be at times when the Dutch switch to a 4-3-3 in the final third.

Even though he is 30, his scoring ability and skills are all intact. After coming in off the bench in past tourneys for his country, the time may have finally come for him to start ahead of Robin van Persie, who has had plenty of chances at this level.

For a guy who is 33, his energy is still endless and his work ethic proves that he is still hungry for all the glory in the world. A man with his experience and ability to change a game in an instant should not be left at home or even on the bench. He deserves to start in what will be his final World Cup.
