Week 7 of MLS has come and gone. Clubs continue to break through to the top, and some players are starting to make a name for themselves. If you are not watching MLS, you are missing out. Some of these clubs are home to the world's best players; the road to Brazil starts here. Check out 5 storylines from the weekend.

5. FC Dallas Remains at the Top

FC Dallas Beats Toronto FC Week 6 MLS

FC Dallas continue to hold the position as the top club in MLS. It added three more points to its tally this weekend when it beat Michael Bradley and Toronto FC. It holds a 3-point lead over its Western Conference contenders, and I don't think Dallas plans to slow down at all.

4. Seattle Sounders Is On a Roll

Seattle Sounders Win Again Week 6 MLS

Seattle Sounders won its second match in row and is slowly climbing back up the table. It may be a match away from tying FC Dallas, current league leader, if Dallas losses its next match. Seattle takes on the Colorado Rapids next, and I can easily seeing it earn against it.

3. Expansion Clubs Announce Home Stadiums

Expansion Stadiums Week 6 MLS

MLS next 2 expansion clubs have announced their home fields for their debut season in 2015. New York City FC will play at Yankee Stadium in Bronx, N.Y.; it is unknown how long NYCFC will play there, but it will have no impact on the New York Yankees' schedule. Orlando City will play at the Citrus Bowl in Orlando, Fla.; it will only play its inaugural season at the Bowl, and then relocate to its own stadium, which has yet to be built.

2. Hector Jimenez Scored Amazing Goal Against DC United

Hector Jimenez Goal Against DC United Week 6 MLS

Columbus Crew continue to make headlines, and this time it has midfielder Hector Jimenez to thank. Jimenez made an incredible goal to equalize the match in the 90th minute. It was a draw, which almost felt like a win, and it was Jimenez' screamer that made it feel like that. Be sure to check it out as MLS Goal of the Week.

1. Sporting Kansas City Rising to the Top

Sporting Kansas City Top Week 6 MLS

Sporting Kansas City is the reigning MLS champions, and it's starting to remind other clubs of this fact. It crushed Montreal Impact this weekend with a score of 4-0, and it is the Eastern Conference standings leader. Kansas City forward Dominic Dwyer scored two of those goals, and he is definitely starting to shine for the club. The league better watch out for Kansas City looking to retain its title.
