It’s widely accepted that Arsenal are going to sign another striker to compliment Oliver Giroud. The question is, who will it be? Wenger has a penchant for not forking out cash for big name players, opting instead for younger players he can mold. However, he’s already said he’s spending big money this summer, so everyone is an option.

I’m still not convinced this is a good idea. That being said, if Arsene Wenger thinks he can handle the enigmatic off-field antics, who am I to argue? The kid has talent, he just needs to figure out how best to use it.

He’s cheap and he’s French, so he’s got two of the things on Arsene Wenger’s checklist. Although, he's not young at 27-years-old. However, he has proven during his time at Newcastle that he has the skill to score in the Premier League.

Not much needs to be said about Benzema. He’s a world class talent, French and plays alongside Giroud for France. Seems like a surefire option as far as Arsene Wenger is concerned.

4. Mario Mandzukic

He scored the most goals on Bayern Munich (21), that alone makes the 27-year-old worth the price of admission. With Bayern adding Lewandowski next season, clearly Pep Guardiola has no intention of keeping Mandzukic around.

3. Alvaro Morata

Morata has had the privilege of learning under Ronaldo, Benzema and Bale. You’d be hard-pressed to find a better trio of strikers to be shadowing on a daily basis. Morata could be considered a prodigy, and Wenger is a fan of those kind of players.

2. Michy Batshuayi

The prolific young Belgian has made it clear he wants to move to Arsenal and only Arsenal, so now it’s just up to Arsene Wenger to get on it. He scored 19 goals for Standard Liege, so clearly the skill is there, and at only 20-years-old he’ll only get better.

1. Romelu Lukaku

Lukaku is a win-win-win situation. He’s only 21-years-old and already becoming a dominant force. He’s a physical specimen that can manhandle opponents. Finally, Chelsea continues to undervalue him, so it’s a stick-it-to-em situation.
