Netherlands didn't even break a sweat in brushing Brazil aside for the third place in the World Cup. Despite dreaming big and aiming for the World Cup, the Dutch should be proud of their performances in the World Cup. Find out how each Dutch player performed against the Brazilians.

It's hard to gauge exactly how good of a goalkeeper Cillessen is when his defense takes care of most of the problems. Brazil hardly got a shot on target, so he didn't have too many saves. He did cut a number of crosses well, and as always, was great with the ball at his feet. 7 out of 10 for Cillessen.

Despite starting the tournament on the bench, Dirk Kuyt earned himself a starting spot with performances like these. He's a natural forward that has no problems staying back and defending. No one ever got past him, and he managed to go forward a number of times. 7 out of 10 for Kuyt.

Don't expect Stefan de Vrij to stay in Feyenoord for much longer. The 22-year-old has been magnificent all tournament long, being practically impenetrable both in the air and on the ground. Neither Jo nor Willian was able to get past him. 8 out of 10 for de Vrij.

CB - Ron Vlaar

If it weren't for his injured knees, Ron Vlaar would be playing for a European giant at this point in his career. He's got great timing on his tackles and is great at anticipating crosses and passes. He's no fool with the ball at his feet either, always making fantastic long passes. 8.5 out of 10 for Ron Vlaar.

CB - Bruno Martins Indi

Bruno Martins Indi was the weakest link of the three central defenders. He fouled Oscar a number of times in dangerous positions, and had just as many troubles with Willian and Maicon. That said, after a while, he managed to compose himself and played much better. 6 out of 10 for Martins Indi.

LB - Daley Blind

Daley Blind ended his great World Cup on the best of notes. The only thing that he lacked to make his tournament fantastic was a goal, and he managed to get one against Brazil. Defensively, he was impenetrable and never let Ramires cause him any problems. 8 out of 10 for Blind.

CM - Georginio Wijnaldum

Georginio Wijnaldum was one of Netherland's best players against Brazil. He helped his midfield partners establish a strong, organized defense. Whenever he had the ball, he used his technique and ability to create a number of chances or keep possession. He topped off his performance with a strong finish to score the last goal. 8.5 out of 10 for Wijnaldum.

CM - Jonathan de Guzman

Jonathan de Guzman was asked to replace Wesley Sneijder in creative duties for Holland, but he was never able to create too many chances. While he helped out on defense a number of times, his offensive contributions were limited. The only chance he had ended up in the stands. 6 out of 10 for de Guzman.

Fantastic performance from Jordy Clasie, who proved that the Dutch have enough talent to look forward to in four years. The 23-year-old was asked to primarily defend the Brazilian midfield and press as much as possible. Neither Paulinho, Hernanes or Fernandinho were able to get past him. 8 out of 10 for Clasie.

Robin van Persie started off the game on a solid note by scoring with a penalty kick in the 2nd minute. He was a serious threat to the Brazilian defense all game long, connecting with Robben well on a number of occasions. He bowed out of his last World Cup game with a good performance. 7 out of 10 for van Persie.

Arjen Robben solidified his candicacy to the Golden Boot with a great performance against Brazil. He caused a penalty in the 2nd minute of the game, and was constantly dribbling past David Luiz, Thiago Silva and Maxwell. He created a number of chances for Holland that, fortunately for Brazil, weren't taken advantage of. 8 out of 10 for Arjen Robben.

Daryl Janmaat came in for the injured Daley Blind in the second half. He was put in his usual spot of the right flank and did well in defending. When Hulk came in, he made sure not to give the Brazilian any space to work with. 6 out of 10 for Janmaat.

No grade for Joel Veltman, who only managed to play three minutes in this World Cup.

Michel Vorm came in the last minute of the game, so no grade for him. Holland becomes the only team in this World Cup to have all three of their goalkeepers see playing time.
