Manchester City were victorious in the last campaign, but on Aug. 16, the new season gets under way. Here are five bold predictions for the amazing season ahead.

Every year, the Premier League has a surprise team. Last year it was Southampton and the year before Swansea. Leicester may be newly promoted to the Premier League, but they have money to spend and their squad shows plenty of promise for the upcoming season.

West Brom and West Ham have been flirting with relegation for a while now, and I feel this could be the season it comes undone for them. While Burnley is a young side with a bright manager, they aren't quite ready for the big time.

3. Aguero To Be Top Scorer

Sergio Aguero has always been impressive for Manchester City. He, now more than ever, has the chance to become the top scorer. Luis Suarez has left the Premier League and, hopefully for City fans, Aguero is free from injury and ready to play the full season.

2. Arsenal To Not Make Top 4

Arsenal have become used to Champions League football, and with a trophy finally won, they have plenty of new signings they may hope to kick on this season. However, more teams than ever are in contention for the Top 4. Chelsea, Man City and Liverpool will all be there again, and with Everton, Tottenham, Newcastle and particularly Manchester United all massively improved, Arsenal are going to find it very tough this year.

Current Champions, Manchester City, still look a formidable outfit. However, Chelsea have finally got a World Class striker in Diego Costa, and have made plenty of other improvements. Mourinho masterminded many incredible results against the Top 6 last year, Expect Chelsea to improve against the lower teams. Also, I predict Chelsea to set all kinds of Premier League defensive records this year.
