There has been a lot of player movement thus far, and with the World Cup over and players' value skyrocketing or plummeting based on their performance on the biggest stage, there are still plenty of players still to move. Here are some players who are still homeless and searching for a place to dig in their cleats and call their own.
Chileans gained a lot of value from this World Cup. Alexis Sanchez was scooped up quickly by Arsenal and now it remains to be seen where his hulking defensive midfield teammate will end up. Manchester United claim to be the front-runners.
One of the best defensive midfielders in the world, fresh off a World Cup title, Khedira is fetching quite the price. Several bids had been accepted, Arsenal and Chelsea being the front-runners, but nothing is official as of yet.
Di Maria has been linked to every team east of the Atlantic, but apparently it’s the beleaguered Manchester United that are the supposed front-runners, though, no rumor has any credibility until we see something official.
In typical Balotelli-fashion, his transfer rumor mill is becoming a circus. No one knows if he’s leaving or staying, and his rumored price ranges anywhere between 16 and 44 million pounds, depending on who you ask. Arsenal is still linked to him, but with the falling price tag, no team will jump the gun just yet.
Real Madrid are pulling the old switcheroo by completely redoing their starters. Isco appears to be one of the stars on their way out to make room for the likes of Tony Kroos and James Rodriguez.
