The Manchester United captain has enjoyed plenty of success with the Red Devils. He has been a regular for both club and country. Wayne Rooney has scored 234 career goals, 217 of those being for United. He has also scored 40 goals for England. Rooney has spent 11 seasons with Manchester United. He plays a great role there and has helped them to five Premier League titles as well as a Champions League Trophy.

The Argentine is injury-prone, but when healthy, he is one of the most fearsome strikers around.

On current run of form, Brazilian born striker Diego Costa is arguably the best pure forward in the world right now. He led Atletico Madrid to the La Liga title last season, scoring 36 goals in 52 appearances. Costa hit 56 goals for Atletico during his last two seasons, and he has scored 107 career goals in 281 outings. Signing for Chelsea this summer, he is the Blues' best player so far this season, scoring four goals in his first three games.

What a guy!
