Crystal Palace Show They’re More Than A Match for Any Team In Premier League

Neil Warnock‘s Crystal Palace produced a stunning away performance yesterday as the Eagles beat Roberto Martinez‘s Everton 3-2 at Goodison Park.

Crystal Palace went to Merseyside as big underdogs, and they couldn’t really have argued with that tag. Everton were finally showing some real form after their indifferent start to the season. The Toffees got back to winning ways last week at West Bromwich Albion before an impressive 4-1 home win in midweek over Wolfsburg in the Europa League.

But it was the Eagles who prevailed on Sunday. Not a lot of people would have given Crystal Palace much hope at Goodison Park, but they produced the same scoreline as they did last season and sent a real message to the Premier League that they are a match for any team and are worthy of their Premier League status.

After the shocking departure of Tony Pulis, many had Crystal Palace down as relegation favourites. However, Warnock has come in and is unbeaten so far as Palace manager. He’s one that is never shy to voice his opinion, and will have a real go at Premier League survival. Although it’s still very early, the charismatic 65-year-old is already looking like a good replacement for Pulis.

The Eagles will host Leicester City on Saturday. Despite the Foxes’ brilliant win over Manchester United yesterday, it’s a game that Warnock will want to win and will do everything to do so.
