Club Galatasaray will host Sivasspor tomorrow afternoon in Week 4 of Turkish Super League action. They lost 2-0 at Balikesir last week while Sivasspor drew 0-0 at home against Konyaspor. Galatasaray has four points while their visitors have two thus far.

Cesare Prandelli — former Italian men’s national team coach — has struggled to instill his visionary style into the players. He plays the players in a 4-3-3 one game, then switches to a 4-2-3-1 or a 4-4-2 diamond. This has been confusing to the players in addition to different starting lineups. He needs to stick to a quick pass-and-move style which can actually work in a 4-2-2-2 (4-4-2 attack).

This 4-2-2-2 style has a back line of four, two defensive midfielders, two attacking midfielders and then two strikers. This way there is focus on defense, attack and even hitting on the counter as the attacking midfielders can be pushed by the defensive ones.

This is how they should line up tomorrow against Sivasspor:

GK: Fernando Muslera

Defense: RB: Veysel Sari, CB: Semih Kaya, CB: Aurelien Chedjou, LB: Tarik Camdal

Midfield: RCDM: Felipe Melo, LCDM: Selcuk Inan (captain), LAM: Wesley Sneijder, RAM: Bruma

Attack: LS: Burak Yilmaz, RS: Goran Pandev (Umut Bulut)

If he instills the 4-2-2-2 with these players and asks them to move up and down the field as a team, they can and most likely will win the game by at least one or two goals easily. Sivas is a good club, but in front of their home fans, Galatasaray are a force to be reckoned with when they are atop their form.

Prediction: Galatasaray 3-1 Sivas

This does seem a bit bold, but after all of the negative performances in recent matches, here is when it is all about to change for the better.
