Leicester City made a bright start to the Premier League season. Following a 5-3 defeat of Manchester United in September, the Foxes have failed to win a game since. These are the five biggest disappointments for the club so far this season.

Adding a player with a Champions League Trophy on his resume is a valuable addition to a newly promoted side. Esteban Cambiasso was brought in to be the leader of this team and a key piece in the midfield. Cambiasso has been solid in the middle of the pitch, but he has been exploited as a defensive liability. It is clear that the 34-year-old has lost a step and opponents are taking advantage of it.

The speedy winger has been a promising talent for several years. While at Aston Villa, many expected Albrighton to earn a spot on the English National Team. Failing to live up to expectations, a fresh start at Leicester could have been a reset button for his career. So far this season, the winger has only taken part in three games and has failed to make an impact. At 25, there is still time. Leicester will be hoping that the time is now.

With the goalkeeping legacy associated with his last name, Kasper Schmeichel has a great deal of expectations to live up to. Schmeichel has been solid this season, but he has failed to keep a clean sheet through 10 games. You can blame his suspect defense, but the only game he missed, the team kept a clean sheet against Stoke.

2. Jamie Vardy

Just like the rest of the squad, the season has gone downhill for Vardy since the 5-3 victory over Manchester United. Against United, Vardy had a goal and two assists to help lead his team to victory. Since this game, Vardy has not scored a goal or provided an assist. He must regain his early season form if Leicester have any hope of avoiding relegation.

The primary struggle for Leicester City this season has been goal scoring. Other than Leonardo Ulloa, the team has lacked a consistent goal scorer. David Nugent has played in 10 games this season, only contributing a single goal. Someone must step up to help shoulder the goal scoring responsibility. If Nugent cannot do it, Leicester will likely be headed for relegation.
