He's gone. He's finally gone. Well ... Almost. Controversial Newcastle boss Alan Pardew looks all set to become Crystal Palace's new manager. The Magpies' show must still go on, though, with Burnley heading to the North East looking to build on their shock point away at Manchester City. But what's going to happen? Let's find out...

In all of the chaos that follows a manager's departure, experts and commentators will dedicate roughly 99 percent of their air time toward analyzing every inch of Alan Pardew's departure. Don't be surprised to see live footage of Pardew watching over his prospective new Crystal Palace side from the stands. Nor should you be shocked to be informed of his managerial record or even what he ate for breakfast. The sideshow will take over.

Newcastle owner Mike Ashley is a man who surely loves to be hated. Admittedly, he comes across as an exceptional businessman. He's tapping into every possible revenue stream available in order to rake in the cash, but in doing so, he's very quickly selling the club's soul. His frosty relationship with Newcastle fans won't change now Pardew has gone. Don't be surprised to see calls for Ashley to follow his manager out of the club.

After about an hour of the game, everyone inside the ground will suddenly realize there is a game being played. Don't expect a classic at all, but Burnley will be buoyed after their comeback from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Manchester City. Danny Ings is a potentially game-winning attacker who will be looking to join a gaggle of English, inexperienced Premier-League strikers banging in goals for fun at the minute.

2. Newcastle will win

While the circus will be in full flow around St. James' Park, it'll be easy to forget that they do actually have one or two players capable of very good things. The tactics, attitude and all-round squad has come under criticism, but despite a constant stream of controversies and drama, Newcastle always seem to produce a win when people least expect it. Ayoze Perez has looked dangerous this season, along with Papiss Cisse and Mousa Sissoko.

The full-time whistle will blow to signal a Newcastle win and John Carver will instantly be installed as the favorite candidate for the job. He's from the city and has a long association with the club. Forget the lack of Premier League managerial experience; forget the other far more qualified and successful coaches around. If Ashley thinks he can manipulate Carver in the way he did Pardew, the job is as good as his.
