The United States men’s national team entered Thursday night’s game with Trinidad & Tobago in a must-win situation.
After 45 minutes, things were looking bleak as the game was scoreless and Trinidad & Tobago nearly held a 1-0 lead after Kenwyne Jones’s header hit the crossbar.
Thankfully, the Americans’ 18-year-old wonderkid, Christian Pulisic, came through with two second-half goals to give the United States the crucial three points.
Nagbe with the surge, Yedlin with the cross, Pulisic with the finish. 💪#USAvTRIhttps://t.co/uGFJxcWOPc
