In the Lamar Hunt U.S. Open Cup, United States soccer takes on a European feel in an FA Cup style tournament that pits the weakest of teams against the powerhouses of the country.

Yeah, that really happened.
Though the club known as Christos FC were playing against largely reserves from the MLS side, it’s no less impressive that the beer league’s Mamadou Kansaye was able to turn this shot into a goal and give his team a 1-0 lead.
DC would wind up winning 4-1, but the reaction of the crowd says it all about the main takeaway from this fixture.
