Welcome baseball fans. Spring training is underway and opening day is just around the corner. Opening day is when all teams start anew, and in that spirit, RaysCentral.com now has a new writer.

My name is Eric Schmidt and have lived in Florida my entire life. I have followed the Tampa Bay Rays since their inception into the league in 1998. Yes, I’ve watched the 100 loss seasons then again, I’m a Buccaneer fan as well.
