Former Titans Coach Jeff Fisher Reaches Top of Mount Kilimanjaro
On Wednesday, former Tennessee Titans head coach Jeff Fisher reached the top of Mount Kilimanjaro along with former New England Patriots linebacker Tedy Bruschi and former Philadelphia Eagles tight end Chad Lewis to help raise awareness for the Wounded Warrior Project–a non-profit organization that helps service members who have been injured.
According to The Tennessean, Fisher and the two former players completed their journey on Wednesday after making it to the 19,341-foot Uhuru Peak and have started their descent down the mountain. The group teamed up with four service members that had been injured in Afghanistan or Iraq to make the climb and raise money for the organization.
He may no longer be with the organization, but the choice he made to climb Mount Kilimanjaro is just one of many reasons why Titans fans will always respect Fisher. Be sure to check out more of Fisher’s journey at BelieveInHeroes.org.
