Kevin Curtis Looks to Bounce Back After Signing With Tennessee Titans
Kevin Curtis was forced to miss most of the 2010 season after recovering from surgery for testicular cancer in September–playing in just two games with the Miami Dolphins. With the regular season, the veteran wideout looks to bounce back and play in his first full season since 2007 as a member of the Tennessee Titans.
According to Michael David Smith of ProFootballTalk.com, Curtis signed with the Titans on Friday. If Kenny Britt–who has struggled to stay out of trouble with the law–is suspended at the beginning of the season, the Titans will need some extra help in the passing game considering their lack-of depth at wide receiver beyond Britt.
This is one of those feel-good stories where everyone will be rooting for Curtis considering everything he’s been through over the last year to overcome cancer and return to his old form from a few years ago. At 33, Curtis will be entering his ninth NFL season after stints with the St. Louis Rams, Philadelphia Eagles, Miami Dolphins, and Kansas City Chiefs.
