Griffin is the guy from this year’s draft where it will be very interesting to see where he actually ends up. In my personal opinion he is my favorite college athlete to enter the draft this year. He is versatile and does great things behind the line of scrimmage. He took the opportunity to enter the draft early and boy is Baylor is going to miss him.

RGIII could end up in any of the top five spots. Really I could the Rams, Vikings, Browns and Bucs all wanting him, whether it’s for their selfish needs or for the possibility to involve him in a draft-day trade. It’s crazy how business like football can be but that’s the way to think.

Why do I think the Vikings may end up with him? The Vikings already have a young Quarterback you may say, why throw another one in the mix. Griffin is experienced he can not only throw the ball but he is also not afraid to rush either. He can pick his target and hit them right on. Not to mention he is comfortable being pressured in the pocket.

Griffin only played three full years in college. In 2008 he was a true freshman, 2009 he redshirted but played in three games, his sophomore and junior years-he took off. All through these seasons, Griffin only missed one game.

His career at Baylor will always be one to remember but it’s just starting for him. His thoughts of going to Law School are put aside for the NFL. While at Baylor Griffin played in 40 games and completed 800 passes totaling 10,366 yards. His rushing yards were just as impressive. He had 528 attempts for 2,254 yards and averaged about 4.3 yards per carry. He rushed in for 33 touchdowns at Baylor.

Tell me that isn’t something you want to see in the NFL. Griffin and Cam Newton will be having battles next year to keep that NFL record.

If the Vikings fail to get Griffin, they may also go in the direction of USC’s tackle, Matt Kalil. He would be a huge asset to the left side o-line in protecting that young quarterback position.

Oh and did I forget to mention-this past year, Robert Griffin III won the Heisman Trophy award. Not Andrew Luck. I’m just saying.
