More Movement on the Titans O-line Mike Otto gets Re-signed
The Titans have come to terms with tackle Mike Otto on a multi-year contract this afternoon. It’s a step in the right direction for the Tennessee O-line. He avoided free agency that would have taken over March 13th had he not got re-signed.
Otto was selected by the Titans in 2007 in the 7th round (223rd overall). He graduated from Purdue and it was there where his career took off, when he broke the Boilermakers’ offensive line record with 51 starts.
In college Otto played both left and right tackle. He started all 14 his senior year on the left side, helping Purdue clinch the top spot in total offense in the Big Ten.
Standing 6-5 and weighing in a 310, this guy is going to play big on the left side next year to help protect both Hasselbeck and Locker.
