Ruston Webster has said that wide receiver Kenny Britt is healing well from his knee injury that ended his season last year. Webster is hoping to have Britt back by preseason.

Britt was picked in the first round of the 2009 draft and has had 101 catches, for 1,765 yards and 15 touchdowns since.

“Kenny’s been working hard, and he’s coming fast, probably even a little faster than I thought he would, so I’m real happy about that, we expect to have him out there for training camp,” said Webster.

The Titans receiver had surgery on his knee to repair the anterior cruciate and torn medial collateral ligaments. In just the tree games he played in 2011 with the Titans he had 17 catches for 289 yards and three touchdowns.

Along with keeping Britt, so far off-season re-signs came with Tight End Craig Stevens, Offensive tackle Mike Otto and Receiver Lavelle Hawkins. There have been talks of the Titans getting close to re-signing defensive lineman Jason Jones.

Jones was the second round of the 2008 draft out of Eastern Michigan and playing mostly defensive tackle in the first three seasons, he was recently switched to defensive end. He averages 15.5 sacks in his four-year NFL career.

The Titans along with the Bills have apparent free-agent visit scheduled according to the league and that they aren’t the only teams interested. The Vikings, Chiefs, and Cowboys may be in the hunt also.
