Perhaps the biggest Texas Rangers fan (both figuratively and literally) has publicly expressed his confidence that the team will win Game 6 of the World Series Wednesday night. Directly following the Rangers Game 5 win on Monday night, Dallas Mavericks forward Dirk Nowitzki tweeted the Rangers should pack only one set of clothes for their road trip to St. Louis, indicating he believes Texas will win Game 6 and the World Series championship.

If the Rangers lose on Wednesday night, Game 7 will be played on Thursday night in St. Louis. When Nowitzki’s Mavericks led the Miami Heat 3-2 in the NBA Finals in June, he reportedly only packed one suit, one shirt and one tie for the trip back to Miami for Game 6. Dallas won Game 6 and the championship, validating Nowitzki’s boast. Now the German native and Rangers fan is urging his baseball counterparts to do the same.
