Toronto Maple Leafs Demote Keith Aulie to the AHL
The Toronto Maple Leafs have sent down one of their young defenseman in Keith Aulie to the Toronto Marlies of the American Hockey League.
This isn’t the first time the Rouleau, Saskatchewan native has been demoted this season. Aulie was demoted at the start of the season on October 3rd, than earlier this month on February 2nd.
The 22 year old has two assists in 17 games with the Maple Leafs this season. In the AHL Aulie has recorded 1 assist in 20 games with the Marlies.
Aulie came over to Toronto with Dion Phaneuf and Fredrik Sjostrom in a trade which sent Ian White, Matt Stajan, Nicklas Hagman and Jamal Mayers back to the Calgary Flames.
