Kings edge Canucks in shootout

The Los Angeles Kings have defeated the Vancouver Canucks 3-2 in a shootout. Dustin Penner and Justin Williams scored for the Kings while Daniel Sedin and David Booth scored for the Canucks. In the shootout, Justin Williams scored first for the Kings. Alex Burrows then scored to keep the Canucks alive, but Mike Richards scored the game winning shootout goal to help the Kings win the game. The Kings outshot the Canucks 41-33. The Kings are now 8-1-5 under coach Darryl Sutter. For the Canucks, they have now lost 2 straight games at home.
