Hodgson named Rookies Of the Month

Vancouver Canucks centre Cody Hodgson has been named NHL’s rookie of the month for January. He currently have 6 goals and 4 assists in his last 11 games. Hodgson scored game winning goals against the San Jose Sharks and Boston Bruins. Hodgson has 14 goals of the season and he’s 2nd in goals for a rookie. He only trails Matt Read, who has 15 goals. Hodgson is 2nd for rookies in power play goals with 5 and he’s 4th in the rookie scoring race with 30 points. He has 14 goals and 16 assists.
