Iginla’s shootout goal lead Flames past the Canucks

The Calgary Flames defeated the Vancouver Canucks in a shootout 3-2 on Saturday. Mike Cammalleri and Roman Horak scored for the Flames while Cody Hodgson and David Booth scored for the Canucks. Olli Jokinen scored the 1st shootout goal for the Flames. Alex Burrows scored a shootout goal to keep the Canucks alive. Jarome Iginla would then score the next shootout goal. Mason Raymond would be stopped by Miikka Kiprusoff to seal the Flames win. The Canucks outshot the Flames 31-18. The season series is tied 2-2 with 2 more games to go in the season series. The Canucks went 3-0-1 on their 4 game road trip and will now head home to host the Phoenix Coyotes on Monday night.
