Four players scored double digits for the Indiana Pacers as they defeated the Miami Heat 94-75.
Dwayne Wade may of had the worst playoff performance of his career… scoring just five points and showing his frustration in the third getting in to a verbal altercation with his coach Erik Spoelstra. The whole thing was of course downplayed after the game.
The Heat will try to even the series at two in game four on sunday.
It was Tony Parker’s 30th birthday… he scored 22 points in the spurs 17 point clobbering of Chris Paul and the Clippers. Paul has just 16 points in the first two games combined.
On the ice… the Los Angeles Kings go up 3-0 for the third straight series. Dwight King’s goal in the third lifted LA to a 2-1 win. The 8th seeded Kings move to 11-1 this postseason.
Interleague begins this weekend in major league baseball…
It’s safe to say Albert Pujols busted out of his slump thursday. His solo shot to center was his second in as many days but the Angels fell to the South-Siders 6-1.
Chicago Cubs pitcher Kerry Wood will announce his retirement ending a 14 career, 12 with the Cubbies. The 34-year-old Wood is 0-2 with an 8.64 ERA.
In the NFL, Jonathan Vilma files a defamation law suit against Commissioner Rodger Goodell, and Philadelphia Eagles LeSean McCoy agreed to a five-year contract extension worth $45 million, $21 guaranteed.
