Ken Whisenhunt on NFL Head Coaches Hot Seat in 2012
Ken Whisenhunt – Arizona Cardinals
Not only does Ken Whisenhunt have to worry about which quarterback to use for the 2012 season between Kevin Kolb and John Skelton, but the head coach may have to worry about keeping his job beyond the 2012 season as well.
The Arizona Cardinals got off to a horrendous start to the 2011 season with a 1-6 record, but they managed to get things together in the second half of the season and finish with an 8-8 record. With one of the league’s best receivers in Larry Fitzgerald and the benefit of playing in a weak NFC West division, there’s no reason why the Cardinals can’t make a run at the playoffs.
Whisenhunt has helped this team reach the Super Bowl before–so there’s no reason why he can’t help this team avoid the playoffs for a third-straight season. If things don’t look good early on for the Cardinals, Whisenhunt could find himself on the NFL Head Coaches Hot Seat list for 2012.
