Marvin Lewis – Cincinnati Bengals
Prior to the 2011 season, Marvin Lewis had only recorded two winning seasons during his first eight years with the Cincinnati Bengals–which is why it was a surprise to see the head coach receive a two-year extension following a disappointing 4-12 finish in 2010.
After a surprise playoff appearance last year, expectations will be high once again for Lewis and company in 2012 as they look to give the Baltimore Ravens and Pittsburgh Steelers a run for their money in the AFC North.
The talent is certainly there on both offense and defense; it’s just a matter of whether or not Lewis can lead this talented team to their third playoff appearance in four seasons.
Either way, Marvin Lewis is on the NFL Head Coaches Hot Seat in 2012.
