2012 NFL Season Week 7: Looking at the Top Three Games

3. Baltimore Ravens vs. Houston Texans

Football fans have plenty to be excited about in this matchup between two 5-1 teams as the Ravens and Texans both seem capable of making a run for the top seed in the AFC. While Baltimore managed to hold off the Dallas Cowboys in Week 6, Houston looks to bounce back after last weekend’s embarrassing loss to the Green Bay Packers.

Lucky for the Texans–they won’t have to worry about facing Ray Lewis and Lardarius Webb on defense.

2. Arizona Cardinals vs. Minnesota Vikings

At the beginning of the season, nobody would have predicted the Cardinals and Vikings to be 4-2 heading into Week 7–but it did. After a 4-0 start, Arizona looks to end a two-game losing streak with John Skelton under center after Kevin Kolb was injured against the Buffalo Bills last weekend.

As for Minnesota–they’re looking to shake off a loss to the Washington Redskins in which they had no answers for stopping Robert Griffin III.

1. Detroit Lions vs. Chicago Bears

There may have been more hype surrounding this match-up at the beginning of the season, but Monday’s game between the Lions and Bears should be exciting for football fans to watch. The Lions managed to pick up their second win of the season last weekend against the Philadelphia Eagles and will certainly be tested against one of the top defenses in the league with the Bears.

If Brandon Marshall and Jay Cutler can continue their recent chemistry–there’s no reason why Chicago shouldn’t improve to 5-1 after this one.
