2012 Fantasy Football Sleepers Week 13: Looking at the Top Three Players
Here’s a look at the top three players for 2012 Fantasy Football Week 13:
3. Philadelphia Eagles RB Bryce Brown
With the LeSean McCoy still recovering from a concussion suffered two weeks ago against the Washington Redskins, the Eagles will rely heavily on Brown once again in the ground game against the Dallas Cowboys. Dallas’ defense has been effective at times throughout the 2012 season, but Brown’s 178-yard, two touchdown performance against the Carolina Panthers last week has caught the eye of many fantasy owners getting ready for the playoffs.
2. Cincinnati Bengals WR Mohamed Sanu
The Bengals have emerged as one of the hottest teams in football over the last couple of weeks and Sanu is coming off an impressive performance against the Oakland Raiders in which he caught five passes for 29 yards and two touchdowns. Cincinnati has been looking for a consistent No. 2 wideout all season and Sanu has the potential to fill that need over the next couple of years for the Bengals.
*Note: Sanu has suffered a season-ending foot injury since this article was published–so avoid him at all costs in Week 13.
1. Detroit Lions WR Ryan Broyles
Last week against the Houston Texans, Broyles was targeted 12 times by Matthew Stafford and caught six passes for 126 yards. With all of the uncertainty surrounding Titus Young and the defenders of the Indianapolis Colts focusing most of their attention on Calvin Johnson in the passing game, don’t be surprised if Stafford heavily targets Broyles once again on Sunday.
