2012 Fantasy Football Sleepers Week 14: Looking at the Top Three Players

Here’s a look at the top three players for 2012 Fantasy Football Sleepers Week 14:

3. Philadelphia Eagles WR Riley Cooper

Sure, the Eagles may be one of the biggest disappointments of the 2012 season, but Cooper still has a favorable matchup to put up big numbers on Sunday against a Tampa Bay Buccaneers team that ranks last in the league when it comes to stopping the pass. What makes Cooper even more tempting to pick up–DeSean Jackson is out for the season and Jeremy Maclin has been struggling as of lately.

2. Cleveland Browns WR Josh Gordon

Over the last couple of weeks, Gordon has been one of the most added wide receivers as he’s recorded 15 catches over the last three games–including a strong performance against the Oakland Raiders in Week 13 in which he caught six passes for 116 yards and one touchdown. The Browns are in position to win their third-straight game against the Kansas City Chiefs–who have just two wins all season–on Sunday and don’t be surprised if Gordon is heavily targeted once again.

1. Tampa Bay Buccaneers TE Dallas Clark

When it comes to fantasy football, there’s a small group of tight ends owners can rely on a weekly basis to put up big numbers. For the owners looking for a low-key tight end that could make an impact in the playoffs–Clark may be that player.

Not only has Clark recorded 14 catches over the last three games, but he’s caught three touchdowns over the last four games as well. With the Buccaneers set on to take an Eagles’ defense that has struggled to stop anything all season, don’t be surprised if Clark sees plenty of passes thrown his way again on Sunday.
