2012 NFL Season Week 16: Looking at the Top Three Games

Here’s a look at the top three games for 2012 NFL Season Week 16:

3. New York Giants vs. Baltimore Ravens

As much as they don’t want to hear it,  the Giants and Ravens enter Week 16 in must-win situations if they want any chance of earning a home playoff game in the first round.

While New York is arguably coming off their worst loss of the season last Sunday against the Atlanta Falcons, Baltimore is looking just to get back on the winning path again as they’ve lost three-straight games. Each of these teams still has a shot to win their division over the next two weeks, but unfortunately–one of them could receive a fall back in the process.

2. Cincinnati Bengals vs. Pittsburgh Steelers

Thanks to the Steelers loss to the Dallas Cowboys last weekend, the Bengals can clinch themselves at least a playoff spot with a win on Sunday in Pittsburgh. Unfortunately, that won’t be easy considering Andy Dalton has yet to beat the Steelers over the first two years of his career.

Pittsburgh clearly isn’t going to go down without a fight as they know fighting for their playoff lives shouldn’t even be an option at the moment with the number of games they could have easily won this season–so expect a good one between these AFC North rivals.

1. San Francisco 49ers vs. Seattle Seahawks

Football fans could not have asked for a better matchup on Sunday as this game could play a major role in the outcome of who comes out on top of the NFC West this season. While the 49ers have looked like one of the hottest teams in football over the last couple of weeks, the Seahawks have been on fire over lately as they’ve scored 50 points in each of the last two games.
