Here’s the fourth part of this year’s NFL teams receiving special Christmas gifts from Dan-a-Claus:
New England Patriots–a Healthy Rob Gronkowski
The argument can be made that the outcome of last year’s Super Bowl would have been different if Gronkowski was 100 percent healthy. After suffering a broken forearm against the Indianapolis Colts in November, the last thing the Patriots want to see happen is a repeat in January with the playoffs right around the corner.
New England already has one of the most unstoppable offenses in the league and if Gronkowski is back at full strength for the playoffs–this team will be even more dangerous to go against.
San Diego Chargers—Andy Reid
With the way things have gone this season, all signs point to Reid and the Philadelphia Eagles parting ways during the offseason after 14 years. There’s no question Reid will land another head coaching job at some point and with Norv Turner most likely on his way out–don’t be surprised if Reid ends up with the Chargers for the 2013 season.
Baltimore Ravens–a New Offensive Coordinator
Despite last weekend’s win over the New York Giants, there’s plenty of concern over the Ravens’ offense heading into the postseason after firing Cam Cameron a few weeks ago as he struggled to get Joe Flacco and company to live up to their full potential. On paper, Baltimore has one of the most dangerous offenses in football and with the right coordinator–there’s no question this team could return to being one of the top in football.
