Looking at Super Bowl Odds For HarBowl Between San Francisco 49ers and Baltimore Ravens
With Super Bowl XLVII (or “HarBowl“) right around the corner, gambling fans will be taking a close look at the lines until the hours leading up to the game as they try to decide whether or not to take the San Francisco 49ers or Baltimore Ravens.
At the moment, the 49ers are favorites (-3.5) as their explosive offense has been nearly unstoppable over the second half of the season since Colin Kaepernick took over the starting job at quarterback. No running quarterback has ever won the Super Bowl, but whether or not Kaepernick can lead San Francisco is a different story considering how much he’s changed this offense since replacing Alex Smith.
As for the Ravens, their offense has stepped it up in the playoffs as Joe Flacco has taken his game to a completely different level as he’s thrown eight touchdowns and zero interceptions during the team’s three playoff games. Flacco has faced plenty of criticism over the years for placing himself in the elite status and if he can lead Baltimore to one more win–it’s safe to say he’ll be placed in that category.
The current over/under line for the game is set at 47.5 and it’s safe to say they couldn’t have nailed that anymore considering the way these defenses have played over the last few weeks. Both the Ravens and 49ers had two of the top defenses during the regular season, but they’ve given up big points at times during the playoffs–which is why both teams should be able to reach the 20′s when it comes to scoring points.
