Lolo Jones Training With U.S. Bobsledding Team for 2014 Winter Olympics

Four years is simply too much for Lolo Jones to bear this time. After clipping the final hurdle in what should have been a gold medal run at the 2008 Beijing Olympics, Jones came up short of a medal again in the women’s 100 meter hurdles at the 2012 London Games. However, she’s not trying for the charm the third time at the 2016 Rio Olympics. Instead, she’s trying to make the U.S. Bobsledding team in time for the 2014 Winter Olymipcs.

At first, it sounds crazy but when you think about it, this is perfectly normal for Jones, who is anything but. That seems to be the reason why we can’t get enough of her, though. She’s good-looking, quirky, funny and there’s never a dull moment in her life, which she shares freely on social media outlets like Twitter. That sometimes gets her into trouble, but she doesn’t seem to care and the media eats it up. So the fact she’s trying out for something as random and off the wall as bobsledding is right up her alley. Even more so, the fact she’s trying to qualify for that odd sport in time for the 2014 Winter Olympics is even more bizarre, yet expected from Jones.

Unfortunately for the male population who only care about watching Jones for her looks, she won’t be showing much skin in her bobsledding uniform like she does in her track outfit. Well, maybe she’ll give the U.S. something more concrete to cheer about this time around.
