Miami Heat Extend Winning Streak to 27 Games With Victory Against Orlando Magic

As expected, the Miami Heat extended their winning streak to 27 games on Monday as they came through with the win over the Orlando Magic thanks to another strong performance by LeBron James–who fell one rebound shy of yet another triple double. With the way things have gone this season, does this recent win by the Heat really come as a surprise to anyone?

For starters, the talent level between both sides doesn’t even come close considering Miami has arguably the best player in basketball with James. Plus, the Heat have recorded more wins during their winning streak than the Magic have for the entire season–which sums up the difference between the two teams this season.

As impressive as Miami’s winning streak has been, there’s no reason to be making a huge deal over their win against Orlando on Monday. Instead, they should be talking about their key matchup on Wednesday against the Chicago Bulls–who happen to be a playoff contender in the Eastern Conference this season.

There’s nothing the Bulls would love more than to play the spoiler role and put an end to the Heat’s impressive winning streak on Wednesday and they certainly have the talent to make it happen. Regardless, the fact that Miami has won 27-straight games is impressive no matter what, but their win over Orlando shouldn’t be anything to brag about.

Wait to see what happens on Wednesday against the Bulls–then the impressive talk can begin once again.
