Tiger Watch: 2013 Masters Update for Tiger Woods on Friday

Tiger Woods started off his quest for a fifth green jacket at a decent pace on Thursday by firing a 70 to put him two under par for the day. Augusta National is living up to its reputation and many golfers struggled near the green on day one while Woods finished with three birdies and one bogey to go along with 14 pars for the round. That’s actually perfect for Tiger because in three of the four years that he’s won the Masters, Woods shot a 70 in the opening round, so if history is any indicator, he’ll be back on top this year.

Naturally, his smoking new girlfriend, American skier Lindsey Vonn, was in the audience cheering him on while looking fabulous, so Woods has to be feeling good only four strokes off the lead while sharing the spotlight with his leading lady.
