2013 NFL Draft Player Prospect Profile: Arthur Brown
This year’s draft class doesn’t have any standout linebackers like previous years, but Kansas State inside linebacker Arthur Brown is certainly a player to keep an eye on when it comes to rookies making an impact during their rookie season. Brown has been praised for his ability as a strong tackler and is great when it comes to scanning the football field to see what type of action is going on–which is why he’s one of those players to keep an eye on in the 2013 NFL Draft.
There are plenty of teams that could use help at the linebacker position and since this year’s draft class is slim pickings, Brown has caught the eye of numerous teams that could bring him on board in the first or second round. If his career with Kansas State is any indication of what to expect, Brown could certainly have a bright future ahead of him in the pros.
Of course, it may take some time for him to adjust to the NFL level as he’ll need to bulk up if he’s going to have any chance of making it. As of now, Brown doesn’t compare to some of the opponents he’ll have to go against in the NFL–which means he’ll have plenty of work to do if he’s going to have any chance of being successful with the transition. Either way, the potential is certainly there for Brown–which is why he’s worth the risk in 2013.
