It’s never a good sign when Barry Bonds is in the news, but this case is different as he’s making headlines for an autographed card that is being sold $100k on eBay. Back in the day, Bonds apparently autographed a baseball card with the message “say no to drugs” written on it.
Come on–it’s safe to say the joke sets itself up for this one. Just look at how Bonds changed over the years when he supposedly “took steroids” in his baseball career and it’s obvious he’s just as guilty as the rest of the players in the big leagues that have used performance enhancing drugs. The only question–why would anyone pay this much money for a baseball card?
Now that the 2013 NFL Draft has officially come to an end, these next few weeks will be interesting as teams scramble to sign undrafted rookies. It may seem like a long shot for most of them, but the league has seen plenty of successful players that went undrafted over the previous years.
