As bad as it sounds, it’s really no surprise these days when hearing about professional athletes dating supermodels. Now, it looks like one popular athlete is ready to take his relationship to the next level by marrying one–C.J. Wilson of the Los Angeles Angels.
It’s been a big week for Wilson after news came out about his engagement to Brazilian supermodel Lisalla Montenegro and when looking how beautiful she is–it’s safe to say there are plenty of men out there who are jealous of the pitcher. Wilson is currently in the middle of a five-year, $77.5 million deal with the Angels–so it’s no surprise to see him go all out with the type of rock he put on Montenegro’s finger.

As for Los Angeles, it will be interesting to see if they can finally turn their season around as they were considered one of the most dangerous teams in baseball at the beginning of the year, but are off to a disappointing 12-22 start. The Angels were considered one of the favorites to win the World Series at the beginning of the year with all of the talent they’ve brought on board over the last two seasons, but that’s obviously been far from the case so far this season.
On the bright side, at least Wilson has plenty of reason to be satisfied with this season from an individual standpoint as he’s 3-1 on the year so far and seems to just get more dangerous each time he takes the mound for the Angels.
