Over the years, it’s safe to say no quarterback has taken as much heat as Mark Sanchez of the New York Jets and things are so bad–even wide receivers of different teams are taking shots at him. Carolina Panthers wide receiver Steve Smith recently said that he wouldn’t even let Sanchez throw him a paper bag sandwich–which is clearly an interesting comparison.
It’s one thing for Sanchez to throw a football Smith’s way, but why would he turn down a sandwich? Just saying.
One of the biggest stories from the last couple of weeks has been Jason Collins making the announcement that he was gay–becoming the first active professional athlete to come out. Jason was recently a guest on Jimmy Kimmel Live with his twin brother, Jarron Collins, as the two discussed how sometimes people confuse them in person for one another.
Kimmel decided to have some fun with the situation and provide Jarron with a hilarious “I’m The Straight One’ shirt–so be sure to check out the interview over in the Clubhouse.
Even though it wasn’t intentional, Tony Allen should consider himself luck that the Memphis Grizzlies managed to win Game 5 after he was hit with a technical foul in the third quarter for throwing a towel on the court while Derek Fisher took a three-point shot. The result of the towel being thrown on the court–a four-point play by the Oklahoma City Thunder.
